Rather than reproduce the whole of ‘Dive Dive Sussex’ our aim here is describe a few of our favourites

Moldavia
Probably one on the most famous wrecks on the south coast, this huge liner converted into a WW1 armed merchant raider on her portside in 50m with the minimum depth being 28m on the tip of the gun

Duke of Buccleugh
The Duke of Buccleugh four-masted iron steamer of 3100 tons built in 1874 and was carrying a cargo of 600 tons hand-painted Belgian china and glassware, 2.533 tons of iron rails and machinery.
She sank March 7th 1889 in collision with the 1500 ton sailing ship Vandalia.
Today she lies in 58m on low water and is an excellent Trimix dive (though some have dived her on air), not only are there a huge amount of plates and glassware scattered accroos the holds the wreck itself is upright and mostly intact

Sometimes called 'The other Moldavia' this huge WW1 armed merchentman lies in an average 50m at low water, some of the wreck reaches as high as 40m however there is a deep scour in the middle of the wreck which reaches as far as 60m
City of Waterford
An absolute classic Brighton dive this upright and intact steamer lies in approximately 30m making her a great club dive with plently of time to explore her especially for those divers using Nitrox
